Earlier in June, the Auscontact Association Board of Directors conducted their first board meeting. In addition to voting for office bearers, the day was dedicated to identifying the strategic focus areas for the association, both for the immediate months ahead and a longer term perspective.
The Auscontact Association Board of Directors is comprised of the following:
Michael Terry, (Chair), Malcolm Angell (Deputy Chair), Carol Adams, Keith Arnold,
Anita Bowtell, Michael Clark, Gary Denson,
Jane King, Sean Mather, Kirsty McCarthy,
Gerry O’Shaughnessy and Isabella Villani.
Following the inaugural board meeting, board members, staff and committee volunteers – met for a two day team building and strategic planning session. Held at the Intercontinental in Melbourne, over 30 very enthusiastic and passionate people immersed in the very brain bending process of defining our Auscontact Mission, Vision and Values and mapping them to the core areas of business focus outlined by the Board.
It was an exhaustive endeavour, but one that lead ultimately to an outcome that left everyone truly excited for the future, not just the future of Auscontact, but a much broader and inclusive vision that takes in the future of the WHOLE INDUSTRY.
